Motor Vehicle Insurance Coverage Violation
During a routine traffic stop, it was discovered that a 41-year-old male driver did not have motor vehicle insurance. He was issued a violation ticket for driving an uninsured motor vehicle on the highway and is scheduled to appear in court.

June 29
Theft from Motor Vehicle
A vehicle was broken into at a business on the west end while the customer was inside. The back window was smashed, and items worth $1500 were stolen. Police conducted patrols in the area, and the incident is currently under investigation.

Operation While Impaired
While on patrol, Police conducted a traffic stop and determined that a 48-year-old male driver showed signs of impairment. A roadside alcohol screening device (ASD) test was performed, resulting in an Immediate Roadside Sanction (IRS). As a result, his vehicle was towed.

June 30
Shoplifting
A west end business reported that two males in their 20s stole candy. The business provided video surveillance footage, allowing Police to identify both individuals. The business manager requested a Trespass notice be issued. Consequently, both males were issued a five-year trespass notice for the business.

July 1
Shoplifting
A west end business reported that a male was observed filling his pockets with random items. The business provided a description of the male, and Police located and issued him a five-year trespass notice for the business.
