The Camrose Police Service adheres to the Provincial Standards for recruitment.
This includes the following process, which can take between 3 to 6 months.

Completed Application Package Submitted

Step 2

Written Tests - Alberta Police Cognitive Test (APCAT) Alberta Communications Test (ACT) and autobiography.

Step 3

Physical Test - Alberta Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police (A-PREP)

Step 4

Personal Disclosure Interview 
(based on Personal Disclosure Form)

Step 5

Behavioral Descriptive
Interview

Step 6

Truth Verification & Psychometric Testing

Step 7

Background & Reference Checks

Step 8

Pre-employment
Medical Test
