BVJ – Day 4
A report of a fight between 6-8 people was received in the Legend Campground. Upon Police arrival, everyone left the area. Determined the fight involved a group attempting to remove an intoxicated male. The situation was mediated and everyone was sent back to their respective campsites.
While conducting routine patrols in the campground, a vehicle was noted to be carrying occupants in the truck box. A vehicle stop was conducted. Police record checks revealed the 28-year old male driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male driver was issued a ticket for transporting occupants outside of the cab and also arrested on his warrant. The male was transported to cells and lodged, awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
