Theft from Motor Vehicle Incidents
Multiple vehicles were entered and items were stolen from them in a residential area in the south end. Surveillance footage of a male suspect was provided to the police. The incident is currently under investigation.
Additionally, there was a second report of multiple vehicles being rummaged through and items stolen from a downtown residential area. Statements have been taken by the police, and the incident is also under investigation.
Possession of Stolen Property
A 911 call reported by a victim of theft from a motor vehicle led to the tracing of some stolen items. The Police attended the location indicated on the map where the items were located. Two youths were determined to be responsible for the thefts from the vehicles. Police also recovered other stolen items that had previously been reported stolen. Police are continuing to make efforts in returning the recovered property to their owners.
