A 46-year-old male was arrested after a complaint was received that he was laying in the snow. The male was determined to be intoxicated and had outstanding warrants for provincial offences. He was given a release document to appear in court at a later date.
Police received a complaint of a theft from motor vehicle that had been parked at an east end business. The owner reported vehicle documents and other personal items stolen.
While conducting routine patrols, a traffic stop was attempted on a red truck in the north end. The truck failed to stop for Police. The truck was an older model Chevrolet or GMC with a large plastic water tank in the box.
A west end business reported a female shoplifter. A photograph of the female was obtained and the matter is still under investigation.
Police received a call from a gas station requesting the welfare of a driver be checked. Upon arrival, a 35-year-old female was located sleeping behind the wheel. The female was issued a 24-hour licence suspension. A subsequent search located a knife and a small quantity of drugs. The female was charged for possessing a prohibited weapon and released to appear in court at a later date.
