Police received a report that a 2022 white cargo trailer was stolen overnight from outside a residence in Valleyview.

A Camrose resident reported that his Facebook account was hacked, and he paid a company with Apple gift cards to recover his account before he realized he was being scammed.

An individual was contacted from someone posing as their employer asking her to deposit money from the business into a bitcoin account. The money was deposited before the employee realized it was a scam. Of note this same scan had been reported by another business the day prior.

A report was received of two males and a female fighting at the downtown public washrooms. Police attended and located two individuals known to them who were separated and sent on their way.

Police received a complaint about two individuals loitering around a public building and smoking in the washroom. The individuals were located and served notices baring their return.

Police received a complaint about a black truck that was driving erratically. As Police were searching for the truck a hit and run involving a black truck was received in a nearby area. Police were not able to locate the truck and they are investigating.

A female reported that she was assaulted outside her residence. The female refused to provide further details to Police. Assistance was provided to her to help ensure her safety.

A resident reported that their neighbor fled to their residence with their children due to domestic violence. Police attended and spoke to the victim who was not wanting to provide Police with any details but, they were willing to be set up with family violence referrals and supports. The victim and her children were provided assistance for the night and brought to a safe location.

Police dealt with a complaint of loud music from an apartment. The occupant refused to answer the door or to turn down their music and they were subsequently issued a ticket under the noise bylaw.
