Police were called to a west end residence for a report of an intoxicated female who was causing a disturbance inside the house.  The caller also stated that the female had picked up a knife and made threatening gestures to family members.  When police arrived a 22 year old heavily intoxicated female was found inside still causing problems.  The female was arrested to prevent any further breach of the peace and lodged in cells.  The family did not wish to proceed with any criminal charges regarding her possessing the knife and threatening them.

While conducting proactive patrols in central Camrose, police located a verbal dispute that was occurring in a back alley.  A group of people had travelled from Edmonton to drop off some personal items for a family member in Camrose.  When they arrived a verbal argument began with another subject that was on scene at the time.  The situation was mediated and all parties were separated.

Staff from an east end hotel called to report that there was a male in their hotel who was not a guest walking the hallways.  Security had asked the male to leave and he went out the back door but wouldn’t leave the premises.  Police attended and transported the 26 year old male to the police service building to await a ride out of Camrose.
