Police attended to a west end liquor store for a complaint of a male who had been sitting in a vehicle for many hours. Police located a 38-year-old male in the front driver’s seat and keys in the ignition with numerous empty liquor bottles inside the vehicle. The male showed signs of intoxication and a roadside screening test was attempted to be conducted. The male driver refused to provide a sample and he was charged for refusing the test and his vehicle was seized.
A male attended the front counter of the Police Service to report that he was assaulted last week at his place of employment. Police will be collecting a victim statement from him and finish the investigation to see if charges are warranted.
