A collision was reported in the industrial area of Camrose as one driver turned left when unsafe and was ticketed. The second driver was ticketed for not having a valid driver’s license. The second driver also had warrants from Saskatchewan which were extended by the province. The male was arrested and is awaiting transport back to Regina to speak to his charges.
While conducting patrols a male was located walking in the downtown core that was breaching his curfew conditions. He was arrested and later released with a court date to speak to his charge.
Police were patrolling the industrial area of Camrose when they came upon a male that was walking down the middle of a street. Checks on the male showed that he had an arrest warrant from Red Deer, Alberta. He was subsequently arrested and a search subsequent to arrest located a large machete type knife in his front pocket of his hoodie. The male was also charged for possessing a weapon dangerous to the public and possessing a concealed weapon. He was lodged and is awaiting his release. While Police were dealing with the male a female approached members on a bike and came to speak to them. Police could see that she was moving her right hand towards her front right pocket. It was noted that she had a large cannister of bear spray in the pocket. She was arrested for possessing a prohibited weapon. The bear spray was seized, and she was charged with possessing a prohibited weapon and released with a court date to speak to her charge.
