Police were called to a residence to assist in removing an unwanted male who was causing problems. Police attended and the man agreed to leave willingly.
Police conducted a traffic stop outside of a licensed premise and noted the driver of the vehicle to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver blew a ‘Caution’ reading on the approved device and was issued a IRS:Warn which is a 3 day license suspension and 3 day vehicle seizure. The driver was also issued tickets under the Traffic Safety Act.
A complaint was received of a man and woman arguing inside of a home. Police attended and mediated the argument. One party was taken to a friend’s residence for the remainder of the evening.
As a result of an ongoing investigation Police have charged a man and a woman under the Child Youth and Family Enhancement Act for causing a child to be in need of intervention. The children are safe and the two accused were released to appear in Provincial Court.
