A hit and run collision was reported with minor damages to involved vehicles. A witness provided information to police which led to the vehicle and driver that was responsible. Police are investigating.
Police spent considerable time keeping the peace and mediating a re-occurring property dispute. All parties were advised to seek legal advice and deal with the matter civilly.
Multiple successful check stops conducted in and near the city with RCMP, Sheriffs, and CP police as partnering agencies. Nearly 200 vehicles were checked without any charges being laid.
