Theft from Motor Vehicle

Police received a report that a vehicle was entered on the south side of Camrose, and a wallet was taken. The owners debit card had been used in two locations in Camrose. Police are investigating the theft.

Impaired Driving

During regular patrols, police stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane. The determined 32-year-old male driver displayed signs of impairment. A roadside Alcohol Screening Device (ASD) test was conducted, resulting in an Immediate Roadside Sanction (IRS). His vehicle was subsequently towed.

June 8

Theft

A report was made of two planters stolen from a downtown residence. The complaint did not want an investigation but requested that the incident be recorded for reference.

Break and Enter

A downtown business reported that someone broke into the establishment and stole $45-$100 from their tip container. The incident is still under investigation.

Shoplifting

A west end business reported a 28-year-old female shoplifting. Police attended and recovered the merchandise. The female was issued a 3-year trespass notice.

June 9

Mischief Damage to Property

Police received three reports of windows being broken at three different downtown locations. Police are investigating the incidents.
