Police were called to a disturbance amongst a group of people at an apartment building where fighting and arguing could be heard by the caller. A second call was received that one of the males had a knife. Police arrived on scene and arrested the suspect without incident. Investigation determined that the intoxicated male was acting irrationally and accessed a prohibited knife and began waving it around. The male also broke a window at the apartment complex. Police have charged him with mischief under $5000, causing a disturbance, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. He was released on an Undertaking to appear in Camrose Provincial Court.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle was charged under the Traffic Safety Act for no insurance, no registration, and misuse of license plate.
