The Camrose Police Service has been actively investigating a series of property-related crimes, including the theft of bicycles, reported over the past month. Following a thorough investigation, a suspect has been identified and arrested.
On May 6, 2025, a youth was located and arrested. At the time of the arrest, the youth was found in possession of several break-in tools, illicit drugs, and a stolen bicycle. A subsequent search of a residence led to the discovery of multiple stolen bicycle frames and tools.
The youth has been released on several conditions and is scheduled to appear in Camrose Provincial Court.
The Camrose Police Service is seeking to identify victims of these thefts and return the stolen bicycle frames to their rightful owners. If you have had a bicycle stolen over the last three months, please contact Det. Cleveland with a description of your lost bicycle.
Preventative Measures:
We encourage the citizens of Camrose to sign up and register their bicycles on the Bike Index website. This will assist the police in the recovery of stolen bikes within the community.
