Shoplifting
At approximately 5:30 PM, a business in the west end reported a shoplifting incident. Upon investigation, it was determined that a 40-year-old female had stolen merchandise from two west end businesses. The female was issued a 10-year Trespass Notice.
Robbery
A downtown liquor store reported that a male suspect demanded money while indicating he had a weapon and then fled the scene. Officers identified the 42-year-old suspect via video surveillance. The male has been charged with robbery and other offences. He will answer to these charges in court at a later date.
July 6
Operation While Impaired
During a routine traffic stop, a 40-year-old male was subjected to a roadside alcohol screening device (ASD) test, which he failed. As a result, he received an Immediate Roadside Suspension.
July 7
Operation While Impaired
At approximately 2 AM, officers conducted a routine vehicle stop. The 33-year-old female driver showed signs of impairment and subsequently failed an ASD test. She was issued an Immediate Roadside Suspension.
