Suspicious substance

Staff at the Camrose Aquatic Centre reported a suspicious white substance on the floor in the restroom. Police determined substance was not drugs and there was no health concern.

Suspicious female

Staff of a local hotel reported a female (possibly related to officer assault August 30) in the restroom with a dog.  Police located female. Investigation continuing.

Firearm complaint

A resident reported an intoxicated male tenant go outside of the building with a 12-gauge shotgun with clip inside, then return inside the building leaving the shotgun outside.  The person reporting retrieved the shotgun, removed the clip and placed them inside a gun cabinet. Police observed the intoxicated male leave in a vehicle, stopped the vehicle and took the male into custody.  The firearm was seized for safekeeping until the male was sober.

Damage to property

Casino staff reported a male causing damage to Casino property. Police arrested male.

Unlawful entry

A person reported unlawful entry to the Blue J Storage facility where multiple trailers were reported as having been entered. Investigation continues.

Stolen wallet

A person reported their wallet was stolen at Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot. The person reported that while putting their parcels into their vehicle they were approached by a female asking a lot of “weird” questions. After this the person noted their wallet missing so subsequently cancelled their credit cards. The credit card company later notified the person of a transaction at a local department store.  Investigation continues.
