Break and Enter

A person reported a local business was broken into with CCTV footage revealing a male and female suspect enter and go directly to and access a vehicle on the property.  Matter is still under investigation.

Stolen truck

A person reported their truck and utility trailer were stolen from their shop located in the area of 47 Avenue and the 3800 block. The person indicated another truck on the property was damaged.

Missing mountain bike

A person reported that their storage unit was broken into and a mountain bike missing as well as damage to some picture frames.

Insecure load

A person reported an insecure load on a truck travelling from an industrial yard. Police located the subject vehicle and observed the truck leaving the yard with an insecure load. The operator of the vehicle was issued a violation ticket.

No licence plates

Police observed a vehicle, bearing no licence plates, parked on the street.  A check of the vehicle VIN determined the last registered owner of the vehicle. Contact with the owner was unsuccessful. The vehicle was towed.

Attempted fraud

A person reported an alleged attempted fraud involving the sale of what was purported to be an expensive name brand watch. The person met with the seller in a local retail parking lot but noted the watch was not what it was said to be, so did not purchase the watch.

Stolen truck

A person reported their 2004 Ford truck was stolen in the area of  52 Avenue and 4700 block. The reported vehicle was later found abandoned along 52 Street in the 5200 block. The door lock and ignition were damaged and several tools stolen. Matter is still under investigation.

Stolen truck

A person reported their black 2006 Ford truck was stolen in the area of 59 Street and the 4300 block.

Assault

A person reported two people trying to enter their apartment building. One of the subjects (female) threw an item and then tried to attack the person (reporting). Police attended and were able to identify the subjects. The female suspect was located and charged with assault with a weapon.

Abandoned bike

A person reported an abandoned bike and bike trailer in the area of 51 Street and the 5300 block. The bike was picked up by police and the trailer was picked up by City of Camrose Public Works.

Stolen vehicle

A person reported their 2005 GMC Sierra stolen in the area of 65 Street and the 4600 block. Police determined another vehicle (2007 GMC Sierra) stolen out of Calgary, was left in the place of the stolen 2005 vehicle.

Stolen fuel

A person reported fuel stolen from their slip tank, while the vehicle it was in was parked behind a local hotel.
