BVJ Grounds Events:
A 19 year old male was noted to be consuming alcohol in a public space. The male became belligerent with Police and was arrested for Public Intoxication.
A golf cart was observed to be driving erratically in the BVJ Campground. A 49 year old male was stopped and it was determined that he was impaired by alcohol. The male was charged accordingly, and the golf cart was seized.
A shuttle golf cart was stolen from the BVJ Grounds. Police located the golf cart with a male driver, who fled from Police. The golf cart was returned to the owner.
A routine traffic stop was conducted on the BVJ grounds. Police determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol, and the 42 year old female was charged accordingly.
Camrose City Events:
Police received a complaint of a male in a neighbour’s yard attempting to open doors and get into a shed. Police located a 44 year old male. Police identified the male and determined he had outstanding warrants for Failing to Appear in Court. The male was arrested and held for a Judicial Interim hearing.
Police were notified of a fraud where and individual received a phone call, claiming their child had been involved in an accident and needed bail money. The victim sent money and later received a second call from the suspect stating more bail money was needed. Please be aware of these scams occurring!
A male reported he was the vicim of a crypto currency scam. The male reported he located a link through Facebook from a company called Maplewells Trade. Please be very cautions using unknown links for stocks/crypto currency. Please verify the company you are investing in prior to sending money.
A report of suspicious people was received in the area of Spaceship park. Police located a multiple individuals from Edmonton who were acting suspicious. All were told to leave the area.
Two licence suspensions were issued for impaired driving during the night.
