Assault Police Officer
A resident reported a person yelling at people near Mirror Lake. Police attended and located the male responsible. When the police officer attempted an arrest, the male assaulted the police officer rendering the officer unconscious. Other officers arrived and tended to the injured officer who was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. Officers conducted an extensive search looking for the male suspect. Investigation continuing.
