During an early morning patrol police observed a group of young persons that fled when they saw the police. Police located and arrested two subjects for breaching court conditions and trespassing on private property.

Police received a report from another victim of the Grandparent Scam. Victim was instructed by scammer to bring $5,000 cash for bail money to a fake lawyer. The victim did meet with the individual and turned over the money.
Police responded to report of a suspect setting fire to grass on the north side of Mirror Lake. Person reporting incident indicated they extinguished the fire, but subject of complaint was still in area. Police located subject and arrested them for arson and causing property damage. Subject was charged with arson, mischief and breaching a release order.
Police initiated traffic stop on subject in contravention of a condition to not operate a motor vehicle. Subject had outstanding warrants was arrested and issued summons’ and released on an appearance notice.
Police received a report from a victim of the Grandparent Scam who was contacted by a fictitious lawyer requesting bail money to release a relative from custody. The victim reported they were defrauded out of $49,200. The victim reported they were contacted by the scammer everyday for over a week.
Police conducted high visibility check stop. No concerns regarding driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
