BVJ Site Events:

Four immediate roadside sanctions were issued during the day.

A report of a hit and run was received where an individual backed into a trailer and fled the scene. Police determined a 25-year-old female was responsible for the collision. The female was found to be a suspended driver and was charged accordingly.

A 23- year-old male, 40-year-old female, 19-year-old male, were arrested for public intoxication.

Police were alerted to a male and female who were causing a disturbance within the concert bowl. Police located the 41-year-old male and a 39-year-old female. Both were removed from the concert.

A report of two females fighting was received. Police located the two and mediated the situation.

Police responded to numerous other complaints involving intoxicated patrons, assaults, thefts, evictions from the BVJ grounds and driving offences.

Camrose City Events:

During proactive patrols, Police located a stolen licence plate on a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted, and it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was unaware their licence plate had been swapped out with a stolen licence plate.

A 9-11 call was received from a male stating he needed help. Police located the male who became agitated and refused to comply with any direction from Police. The 41-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication.

Police were dispatched to a business where a male was following employees around. Police located a 62-year-old male and issued him a trespass notice.

A suspicious persons complaint was received. Police located a 29-year-old female who had warrants. The female was arrested.

One immediate roadside sanction was issued to an impaired driver. Another driver was stopped for being a suspended driver and was charged accordingly.

Several other complaints were received and responded to by Police including two domestic violence investigations, property disputes, and suspicious persons.
