Join Us for the 19th Annual Charity Checkstop!
The season of giving is here, and we’re warming hearts once again at the 19th Annual Charity Checkstop, proudly partnering with Camrose Helps and Action for Healthy Communities!
Date: Saturday, December 6th
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: 48th Avenue Eastbound Service Road, in front of Camrose Registry Ltd.
This year, we’re hosting a Warm-Up Campaign to help keep our community cozy and cared for through the winter months. We’re collecting:
-monetary donations
-new mittens, toques, scarves
-hand and toe warmers
-personal care items such as shampoo, soap, diapers, toothpaste, and deodorant
-non-perishable food items
We gladly accept cash, cheques, and grocery store gift cards!
– Tax receipts will be provided if requested.
– Please make cheques payable to:
- Camrose Helps Foundation, and/or
- Action for Healthy Communities Society of Alberta
We’re collecting both regular food donations for the Community Pantry (located inside FCSS) such as:
-pasta and sauce
-cereal and oatmeal
-canned soups, vegetables, and fruits
-peanut butter, jam, and snack items
And items for our Cultural Food Hub, helping everyone enjoy familiar and meaningful foods this season:
– rice, lentils, and beans
-chickpeas, canned fish, and cooking oils
-spices, sauces, and seasonings
-noodles, flour, or other cultural pantry staples
Your generosity helps make the holidays brighter for families across our community. So bundle up, stop by the Charity Checkstop, share a smile and help spread warmth and cheer this holiday season.
